i have the same problem, but the eraser trick doesn't work, that was the first thing i tried and the my camera cant read the disk to format it, however at the same time my camera works fine without the memory stick, i called sony support and we ran a few tests and procedures on the camera itself and they concluded that the problem is with the memory stick not the camera but at the same time he said that there were three reasons why the C:13:01 error message is on, however he would not tell me the reasons, i then called sandisk support and they say to take it to the nearest place to try and format it and if that doesnt work they say they will send me a new memory stick i love the camera though it always worked great until this by the way my camera is a sony cybershot 8.1mp dsc-w150 and the memory stick is a sandisk memory stick pro duo 2gb
