Homemy camera is not connecting throgh pc Respected Sir, i have purchaged a vedio camera panasonic 9000 in year1999 now my family members want to know , will this camera can be connect through pc. actually it has a vhs cassate as a starage media, now days the device supporting it is not available in the market. So pls help me how i can use its captured images to transfer on pc so that i can make a vedio cd. thank's shailendra

Pechorins ridiculous blocking system for certain words being used in replies has necessitated me to severely edit the reply, so this is the latter half of the above reply which had to be altered. With >>"non-digital"<< devices its much more efficient just to copy the video onto a DVD disc using a cheap DVD recorder, as the results obtained doing it this way are excellent and you don't have the problem of dealing with the massive file sizes that direct connection can sometimes result in. If its a VHS-C type then you cannot connect it into any PC unless the PC being used has an non digital input (A/V) capture converter card installed in it, most do not!!
