Yes, if you directed the slightly warm air into the tape compartments left hand side (where the sensor is situated) then that can help for a certain period of time, however if the condensation warning starts getting to be a frequent occurrence then disabling the sensor is the only economical way out of the problem. (Suspect the model number given is an error?)
