HomeAbout condensation in JVC camcorder I had this camcorder for 6 years and today was the first time I've got that message of condensation, before going for the screws and keeping track of them, I opened the tape compartment, removed tape, and tried a few seconds with the hair dryer in a low setting... It's working again!!! Maybe it won't necessary to go any further.

Yes, if you directed the slightly warm air into the tape compartments left hand side (where the sensor is situated) then that can help for a certain period of time, however if the condensation warning starts getting to be a frequent occurrence then disabling the sensor is the only economical way out of the problem. (Suspect the model number given is an error?) |
