Home | Previous messageI don't have a remote for mine, and when I play this back, I can't get the menu counter and other video information to be hidden (as if the MENU does not come up at all- only volume and tracking). So, if there's a way to turn off the display without the remote, I'd like to know...

You select what you want by pressing the "Menu wheel" in which is situated at the rear of the viewfinder casing, then you make your selection by rotating the wheel from "camera menu" to "system menu" and select "simple", then move on to the "date / time" menu and select "off" |
