Re: JVC AV-28T5SK will not power on

Tracy T Posted Oct 22, 2008, in response to:Steve Bagshaw

I had a similar problem on my JVC AV 27F802 and no C926. I discovered that there are two 1000uF 16V capacitors in this portion of the power circuit, namely C932 and C943. I replaced both and my TV is working like a dream. Hope this helps!

You probably wont get an answer as its an old 2008 posting, but "if" these components mentioned (usually black plastic vertical tubular) fitted into your sets chassis have the equivalent purpose to the chassis containing the C926 capacitor then they will be located very near to the vertical scanning IC heat-sink, this sticking up vertically from the circuit board. Sorry I cant help more but am not acquaint with this model.

I have the same problem you described with my TV. Can you explain where these capacitors are located?? I can replace them if I knew where there at.
