JVC AV-28T5SK will not power on

I have a JVC AV-28T5SK, just over 15 months old so out of warranty. The TV can not be powered on but the TIMER LED is flashing. If I unplug the TV for a while and reconnect, I hear the TV screen going ON for about 5 seconds, with a slight clicking noise, but it stays off and the timer led keeps flashing. I have seen the various JVC entries referring to replacement of the C926 Capacitor, but according to the circuit diagrams I cannot see any C926. Is there an equivalent on this TV? Thanks in advance for help. Steve

I had a similar problem on my JVC AV 27F802 and no C926. I discovered that there are two 1000uF 16V capacitors in this portion of the power circuit, namely C932 and C943. I replaced both and my TV is working like a dream. Hope this helps!
