Okay, I'm joining the group! My SONY TRINITRON TV purchased August 1998 just all of a sudden turned off with no warning and I can't power it back up, it's just dead. What the heck. Model #KV-32V26 S/N A802823, manufactured March 1998 in Tijuana, Mexico.

I have the exact same TV with the exact same problem. No blinking lights, nothing. Dead. If anyone figures out the issue... email me.
