I was having the same problem, Sony Vaio PCG-V505BX working one moment (no battery problem or any other issue for that matter. The next day it was dead in the water, no boot, no power, no nothing. I disconnected & reconnected cmos battery located under keyboard. This reset cmos or something. The first boot there was a bios beep, I had to reset the clock, now everything is fine. Thanks, bent

Hello, I had the same problem for my sony laptop, and tried to follow the method. And also I found where cmos battery locates. However, I have difficulties unpluging cmos battery. Please help. |
