Home | Previous messageI just had this problem and was going to replace the camcorder. My husband took the lens cap off, placed it in the sun for about an hour then flicked (not banged or beat - just alight tapping) and now its working. He said condensation, dust, etc may have made the lense stick. Good luck!

The problem is "guaranteed" to return as that model can be fitted with a potentially defective sensor, it should be said that banging or leaving the camcorder in the sun is liable to cause far more serious problems!, however full details of the problem will be sent to your direct e-mail address. |
