Homei think it is a factory error HELLO...,I have a JVC GR-D72-U comcorder and when I power it up it say LENS CAP ON and does not show the picture. The lens cop is not on...i'm over warranty...what can i do?? Thank you very much...

Would you mind passing along the fix? Thank you.... I just had this problem and was going to replace the camcorder. My husband took the lens cap off, placed it in the sun for about an hour then flicked (not banged or beat - just alight tapping) and now its working. He said condensation, dust, etc may have made the lense stick. Good luck! I too am having the mysterious "Lens-Cap On" error, would someone please fwd me the fix for that? much appreciated.
