As you have already dismantled the device that will by-pass the procedure usually sent as part of the instructions, however the "plug" not wire! you want is the one that comes from the rear case section, as that contains the memory back up battery, it should be taken out and left for a few minutes before being reinserted. (the plug going into the main PCB socket numbered CN403) It should be pointed out that this procedure is not a guaranteed fix no matter what may be seen written, and in many cases the only way around the problem is to permanently disable the sensor, however this should "not" be tackled by anyone not acquaint at working with small precision types of equipment, and a small "quality" needle pointed soldering iron is essential for this task. All this said taking it that you have first of all tried cleaning the sensor? this having to be carried out with extreme care as the sensor is easily damaged.
