Re[2]: JVC GR-D90u Condensation Error
JB38 - 3rd Aug 2008 15:43
Although cleaning the dew sensor in many cases will give a temporary cure to the problem, the fault will return in about 80% of the camcorders that has experienced the problem, with the only permanent cure being to disable the sensor.
This should "never" be attempted by anyone not acquaint at working with small precision pieces of equipment, and possession of a "quality" low voltage needle pointed soldering iron can be considered an essential.
Full details can only be sent to a DIRECT e-mail address, as the info is complex and contains JPEG (approx 10) attachments.

jb38 - 1st Sep 2008 20:27 I would be pleased to send on the info to anyone that requests it, however it can only go to a DIRECT e-mail address as it contains JPEG's for illustration purposes, so anyone that selects to restrict their e-mail address effectively stops the info from being sent.

jb38 - 12th Sep 2008 9:53 Full details regarding the initial dew sensor cleaning procedure will be sent via DIRECT e-mail, plus if this fails the disabling info.
It should however be emphasised that this should only be attempted by people acquaint at working with small precision pieces of equipment, as although its not necessarily a "high tech" job it does require care in its operation.
PLEASE NOTE!! Anyone that may be reading this and requires similar info please request it on "Post new message" at the top of each page, as it will not be seen if added to the heading of this posting due to it appearing as of date as far as the main screen is concerned.
