Home | First message in thread | Previous messageAlthough cleaning the dew sensor in many cases will give a temporary cure to the problem, the fault will return in about 80% of the camcorders that has experienced the problem, with the only permanent cure being to disable the sensor. This should "never" be attempted by anyone not acquaint at working with small precision pieces of equipment, and possession of a "quality" low voltage needle pointed soldering iron can be considered an essential. Do you still have the instructions to fix the dew sensor problem? If so I would greatly appreciate them. I can't afford a new one and a grandbaby is on the way!
