Home | First message in thread | Previous messageI just got off the phone with "Quenton" at Sony and he confirms they no longer make the system control cable #176512111 for the HCD-541. This cable fed power to the main player from the super woofer and transmitted all signals from the main player out through the super woofer to the speakers (tape, CD, phono, etc.), so without it......I'm screwed. The unit had years on it, but very, very little use. Me thinks this is the last Sony product in my purchase plans.

got the same problem, was told to try ebay, which was no help! Was also told that not many people bought this stereo, it was not very popular!! and that I should just trash it and go buy a new system! |
