Gary- Does Sony make the System Control Cable for the HCD541 that is 6 feet long???

Just wondering if this hcd-541 system control wire can be repaired, I still have mine, but do to the short length that they made it, It was always pulling to reach from the receiver to the subwoofer wich caused it to wear and nolonger make a full conectin,I cany find a new one anywere so could mine be fixed? Bonjour, j'ai une chaine Hi-Fi HCD-541 avec Subwoofer SA-W542 achetée en 1995. Elle fonctionnait trés bien jusqu'à ce que j'ai un problème avec le câble système contrôle qui relie ces deux éléments. Pourriez-vous avoir l'amabilité de m'envoyer le schéma de ce câble qui comprend 17 fils? Je n'ai pas la combinaison qui me permet de faire fonctionner la chaîne dans son intégralité. Merci d'avance.

I just got off the phone with "Quenton" at Sony and he confirms they no longer make the system control cable #176512111 for the HCD-541. This cable fed power to the main player from the super woofer and transmitted all signals from the main player out through the super woofer to the speakers (tape, CD, phono, etc.), so without it......I'm screwed. The unit had years on it, but very, very little use. Me thinks this is the last Sony product in my purchase plans.
