Home | First message in thread | Previous messageThis is the well documented "lens cap defect" which has had a "free" repair offer on for the past 30 months or so, however this expired at the end of 2007 but if you are the "original" purchaser of the device and have a receipt as proof (essential!!) I would contact JVC customer services of wherever you are located, as they "may" still carry out the repair.
