Lens Cap error message disappered, but now new problem

I used to have the lens cap problem, but now the lcd display is showing a picture, but it is heavily distorted. It only highlights changes of light in the room, and i can barely make out objects. If you have any suggestions, they would be grealty appreciated. Thanks
