HomeMy JVC camcorder Model# GR-D270U will not charge the battery that it uses. The battery that I have is only about a year old, but now my camcorder will not charge it. I've bought another battery thinking that the other battery cell may be dead. The same problem takes place with the new battery. Help!

If its established that no fault exists with the actual charger or the power supply lead to it, then it strongly suggests that the camcorders internal fuse associated with the charging circuit has blown. This will require the camcorder case to be separated to gain access to the board where the fuse is located, the item referred to being a special miniature soldered in device. |
