HomeC31:23 error code After a e-chat with sony support that was not at all helpful and an estimate of $211 to look at my camera, I checked out this message board. Turned on my camera, gave it a slap, removed the battery and reinserted, set the clock and my camera works!! Shame on Sony!

Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! I borrowed a Sony DCR-PC1010E Pal from a friend for a party. When I turned on the camera after the party I got the C31:23 error code. After applying your recommended "Treatment" of smacks and battery removal the error cleared and the camera is working once again. Thanks to your posting I can get the camera back to my friend. |
