hey i blew the fan and it really work try it i dont know a way to fix it but the error is due to a failure in the fan. so on mine i took the fan out to see if it would fun on a 9v charger, and it did. so what i was wondering was if you resodered conections because that mey be the problem. Hey. Had the same problem. Took off the lid, cleaned fans (both of them) from dust. Removed from connection, put it back. Plugged in and both fans started to work without interuptions and problem solved! Thanks! Hey, I have had the same problem and I took the fan off and left the machine unplugged for about three minutes. I plugged it back in and turned it on and low and behold it came on. Once the fan is clean you must unplug and it seems to reset or something. Good luck to all, I knwo it is frustrating. Hey guys i came here as first aux to see if u could find the solution to the error code.... my parents thought i had damaged the component by moving it from living room to my room... actually i took the idea of taking off the cover and cleaning the fan area, which i did and the actually it worked right away... thnx for the help and if u r experiencing this issue, that is the way to fix it... some how it appears to be that when the fan is dirty and doesnt work properly due to the dust, it sends out this error message... I take the cover and blow the fan and start working again! I think is a fan problem, try to move it with your hand if doesnt go alone. Have you been able to fix this issue: Panasonic DVD home theatre SA-HT940 error code F61 I have the same problem. and to be honest when the system over heats it means that you have no breathing room for the system cause all the air is surrounding the system and thats why there are problems for the system to shutdown and thats probably why you guys are getting the same problem your system cant be in a small fitting area it has to breathe if you have a TV cabnet that has the room for the system dont put it in there it has breathing vents on the side so you have to have a big opening area for the system find a small table and put the system on the table just make sure you dont have anything near by to be near the side vents then the system will work fine i have had this system for at least 5 to 6 months i never had any problems yet take more care of your system and then it will be fine I have the Panasonic SA-HT940 12watt 5 Disc DVD Home Theater and i have to say that its the best system i have ever had and even though its an old system it works pretty well i get a great amount of sound out of it when i play DVD's its like im in the theater and my Music sounds like its live and when i have my audio connection connected to my cable box im speachless i just cant belive i have great sound for shows and movies Panasonic is the best brand for surround sound cause Panasonic was the only brand to come out with the Panasonic Shockwave that had amazing Bass in the earphones it was a big seller im sure that Panasonic will be more popular than any other brand with their amazing electronics Suddenly, one day I turned on my relatively new SA-HT940 to play an MP3 DVD and the system came on showing a message "F61" and then went off. Numerous trys gave me the same results - DON'T KNOW WHY I EXPECTED ANYTHING DIFFERENT. I called Panasonic, got a suggestion to check my speaker connections. I disconnected all speakers, reconnected them and when I attempted to turn the system on got the same "F61" message with immediated turn off. "ON - F61 - OFF" has been the response from the system. I have no clue. |
