HomeJVC television model AV-2749S I have a older-model JVC television, model AV-2749S. The picture is great, however the upper and lower "headers" (lines where channels like ESPN show scores, etc.), are "cropped". Previous sets had adjustments to size horizontal and vertical edges to screen, but I find no such adjustments on the set or in the setup menu. Any ideas?

I have the same exact problem with mine.I took the back off,blew the dust off everything , but could not locate a vertical adjustment pot. After numerous searches ,I found nothing to explain the solution to the problem. I may try a TV repair place for some help.If I find out anything , I will post the results. In meantime , if you find out anything , please post for me. Thanks My TV is a JVC AV-2749S built in 1989. ps - Pretty annoying not to be able to see the scores down at the bottom or the top of the screen. |
