Hi Kurt, Aneighbor has given me a Sony KV-36XBR mfd in apr of 2001. An in-law has a tv repair shop, but cannot figure out what the problem is, (no picture or sound) and says that sony stops making replacement parts after 6yrs. He has also had the exact same tv in his shop for 'bout a yr and said he replaced the main board and some kind of transformer???????? .............and no luck. looks very very complicated and was wondering if you might have some suggestions, (because of your knowledge and experience) that would be greatly appreciated.....
