Panasonic SA-HT67 showing F61 alarm on power on.

I have a panasonice home DVD theater system SA-HT67 which is showing F61 during power on and shuts down with in seconds.i am suspecting IC501(Audio power medule RSN311W64)or IC 502(STK470-050A)but i am not sure which one of them. Could you please help me if you have faced such a problem and the price of the IC TOO. THANKS

I have same device with same problem. IC502 is the faulty part. To fix it, you should desolder all 14 pins ot remove the chip( probably some or all pins are already separated from the chip). Either you replace the chip, or you can resolder all pins back to the chip and use JB WELD cement to fill up the empty space. It works.

most common cause is the regulator ic measure voltages or you can desolder the pins and you will find some pins will just fall out of the ic
