error message
Hi I have a sony vo-9800 and I am getting an error message 02. I am wondering if there is anyway to get past this error message?

Is this something that we can fix or do we need to hire someone to come in and fix it?

Error 02 is a "tape slack" error. Most likely cause of this error message is a worn or broken reel belt, underneath the chassis. A worn idler wheel may also be suspect.
