what is wrong with this TV

there is no picture or sound, when pressing power button the lamps light up just a little bit at there base, this is only for about 30 seconds then they flash/flick and powers off.also timer off light comes and goes in stand by mode.

I have exactly the same problem with my av61 and have been told that it could be Audio IC STK73909 (on power board facing back panel when opened). I am looking for stock of this here in SA. Let me know if you have any luck with repair of your set.
