HomeRed timer blinking The TV had a couple of horizontal lines on the top. Last night it turned off my it's self and the red timer lights is blinking. The TV will come on after you unplug it and plug it back in but for about 2 seconds. Something smells burnt. Help.. on limited budget and need to have a tooth fixed more than the TV.

The problem you mention of the timer light blinking is because the TV's power unit has shut down into standby mode for safety reasons because a fault has been detected somewhere in the circuitry, and in your model notoriously always around the vertical scan components, not really expensive parts but the cost entirely dependant on the labor charges of wherever you go for service. |
