Homesound is going off i have been using this system for the last 3 years. nowadays, it has problem with sound. video working fine. and woofer and speakers working fine, when connecting with TV. Only while playin CD\DVD, sound comes for 2-3 minutes, then its gone.

If when this happens you immediately switch across to some other mode and the sound returns, then it could point to the CD/DVD laser being faulty and dropping out after the time factor you mention. However if this doesnt happen and the audio is still off, then it could be a fault with the output amplifier packing in when stressed whilst playing DVD / Cd's, as they can make peak demands on the amplifier of a nature that doesnt occur when on other non digital modes. |
