Yes, I have the trv38 as well- and it's not recording... When I hit record, a weird eject type symbol starts flashing and it will not allow recording. Everynow and then it works, but Ive only had this camera for 3 years and never used it than anything other than a backup camera to my 2 3ccds units. Wouldnt you know it- i finally need it last weekend and it won't record.. Talk about a nightmare!
