Are we talking about same products? Sony G88, I bought this one about 1995. Same problem the laser optic since 2002, must replaced the laser optic to solve problem.

i have g88 mini system and the problem is cd changer try unit continusly turning cannot identifi 1,2,3,cd after few minuit it stops at wrong position.
