HomeJVC digital video camera-- model #GR-D73U hi, hope you can help, I purchased a used JVC digital video camera-- model #GR-D73U when I received the camera, it was completly dead, so we pluged it in to charge it up. when we tried to use the camera all we get is an error message saying lens cover is on. the problem is that we can not find a lens cover anywhere or a button to push to elimate the problem. all we get is a blank screen. any ideas? also we do not hav any manurals fot the camera, can i go online to get some? thanks , randy

Randy I too have a similar model GR-D73EK which I have had from new and which worked perfectly well for about 14 months. I went to use it about 3 months ago and keep getting the same message. It plays okay, the tele lens moves okay in fact everything else appears to work except for taking video! I have read the manual and there is no buttons or settings to turn this thing off! Therefore I'm with you, if anyone could help, please do! |
