I WAS WONDERING IF YOU FOUND OUT YOUR PROBLEM AS MY SAME CAMCORDER I ORDERED 2MO AGO IS DOING THE SAME THING, I WAS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A BATTERY ONLINE IN HOPES THATS WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS, THEN I STUMBLED ON YOUR COMPLAINT. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU FOUND OUT. THANKS TAMMY

most likely is failure of the image sensor. had a similar JVC camcorder do the same thing, sent it off to JVC for repair. sensor was about $40, labor additional, but they will give you an estimate before repair.

that happened to me too i bought a floor model so it diddnt come with anything like a battery .we went to future shop and asked the employee if getting a battery would help .we were about to buy the $100 battery when the employee pluged it in and realized that the lens was internaly broken he suggested that we were togo to jvc and get it fixed.if you go to jvc with a warranty you can get it fixed.
