It would appear as though part of the cameras logic circuit has locked up for some reason or another, although stating a possibly obvious point that applies to ALL equipment controlled by logic circuits, but have you tried removing the battery for a few minutes to allow the circuit to reset? If this doesnt help, then is there any possibility that condensation moisture can be present within the casing?
