Thanks Wong, I had my NV-DS27 for 4 years now, I told it was just old and might have collect a lot of dust or damp. I was planning to send it for repair but you have changed my mind. I would rather buy a new one than facing the same problem agin. it seems that only Panasonic can fix the problem. thanks, Andre
