Sony DCR-PC5E video camera

I have fixed the problem. There are two things that you can try out:-
(1) press the reset button on the right hand side of PC5E.
(2) re-calibrate the touch screen. Press the [DISPLAY/TOUCH PANEL] button on the top right hand side of your PC5E and switch the PC5E to VCR mode. Then, on the LCD screen, you will see a cross appears on the top left corner of the screen. Use a soft pointer to point to the cross and another cross will appear in the centre. Use a pointer to point the cross when you see it on the LCD acreen. This will help the PC5E to calibrate the buttons. When it is done, your PC5E will be back to normal.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for your help!
I tried both methods but it is still not working.
1. I reset the video cam but the calibration is still off.
2. I followed your instructions for the 2nd method, but there is no cross that appears on the screen at all. When I pressed the Display/Touch Panel button, the screen is just blue but no cross. When I press anywhere on the screen, the normal status stuff, like battery life and tape length comes out.
Hope you have other solutions for me. Thanks in advance!
