I've just had the same problem, bought mine Dec 04 in Tenerife, and its done loads of filming and I've made lots of small movies from it. It's now next to me on my desk at work in bits, I took out all the ribbons and put them back in and then with still no response I'd thought I'd search ebay for spares and I found about 3 others with the same problem on there so thought it must be common. Shame because I did like that camera, was easy to use and had good functions. Oh well.

Hi there, you couldn't send me the information to get a repair on a JVC GR-D20EK lens cap problem could you?
