My parents are having the same problem. They paid $100 for someone to look at it to tell them the blue bulb burned out. Sony said they stopped making blue bulbs, so the service guy did something to make it work without the color blue. The picture was a little on the green side but the tv worked for a while. Now the red bulb justed went over the holidays and they need to pay $186 for a new one plus $100 for service. What a ripoff!
