We got a KV-24FV300 about Chrismas 2002, and about four years later In late December 06' when we tried to turn it on the Timer/Standby/Sleep mode light started blinking. After a few tries, we were able to get it on, and after that, it just got progressively worse. It finally gave out around January, and we haven't been able to get it back on, only the blinking remains. During the whole thing, we weren't sure whether or not we had accidentally set a timer or were pressing a button from some lost remote. Before this, we had perfectly faithful service from it and never had any signs of problems. Suppose its time to get a new TV or get some new Hobbies, but if anyone was going to take serious action I would be glad to Sign a petition or make a formal complaint to Sony.
