Home | Previous messageI have a mid 90's JVC TV. It has worked well up to this point. But a few days ago the power button just started flashing on and off, and now the TV won't come on at all. I've tried holding down the power button and checking the cables but nothing is working. Is there anything else I can try? thanks, Daniel

You dont actually mention the model number of your TV, however the symptom you describe indicates the power unit has shutdown for safety reasons and which could be caused by (dependant on model) a well documented common fault over a range of chassis with a component(s) in the area associated with the vertical scan circuit IC. |
