Hello Jim: You are certainly Welcome! Thanks for reporting back on the message board re your success using the quick fix. I believe that Sony is a fine company and that they usually make quality products...However, this issue is known to them...poor training on their Customer Service side..... Telling people with a defective DSC-S40 camera to spend $111.00 for repair is ridiculous when they can fix it themselves using my quick fix. Regards, Bob The Allens of Allentown, PA USA |
