I have TWO GR-D73U's exhibiting the same problem.. No Video. Tape deck works, just no video..... Can someone post info on what to repair? I have done surface mount repair before, as long as it's not a big gate array... Jan

I have a GR-D33U Mini DV camcorder. I get cannot record, the error is "Lens Cap". Of course I have do not have the lens cap on. Playback is fine.
