The firmware that you require is not or should i say has not been hacked yet! the fault occurs when patching the bin file after removal. This is only a matter of time as i too have the same problem and have scoured the net in search of this and once i have the answer i will forward the patch and instructions to replace the firmware ( 9.0.43 , 9.0.48 and 9.0.50) I hope this helps don't give up yet it is salvagable.....

you need to get a program called disk manager first use the utility manager to format DO NOT USE WINDOWS you must use this program then use disk manager to load this program is like the ITUNE for apple ipod the version you need is 4 or 4.2

you need to format it like if u have a fromat tool start it up and reformat it this happpen to me to

my mp4 was showing disk error too so do these steps and it might help your mp4 1)plug your mp4 in your pc 2)then go to start 3)then go into my computer 4)u should see removable disk E:) 5)double click on it 6)a note should come up click ok and it will fix ur mp4 youll know if it works because disk error wont show up anymore and all files will be deleted so u have to reload your music thanks 4 reading hope it works

at first mp4 was sound but when I charge it and attach to computer for copy picture beacause a picture was fail in duration copy abruptly copy processor stoped and all of files into mp4 hiden but the capacity mp4 wasnot change now I cant copy data into mp4 and parts of mp4 for example record,movie,... after play show " disk error " now I how can fix it thank you.
