I just had the same problem with my 56" JVC, 3 years old. I had to have it repaired cost me around 300.00. The repairman replaced 3 parts, 2 convergence IC part # STK392-110, and resitor 2.2 ohms on board marked R842. You can easily get to these items by taking the front cover off the TV. You must be good with soldering to keep from damaging the board when replacing these parts. My TV had a red ghost and the convergence would move either. The repairman said this is a common problem with JVC tvs due to the heat, heat sink compound must be applied to the back of these parts before installed ( very important). Hope this helps Jerry
