Homeany recalls on JVC av-48wp34 I also have the av-48wp34 and tonight i had blue streaks on the top 6 inches. I tried to adjust the convergance, but no luck. This was not a cheap investment. I chose JVC over other brands because I have always been impressed with the quality. Please help with this problem.

I'm having the same problem since Sun Nov 19. Any suggestions? Have the same set...after the 2 year warrenty..mine did the same thing..jvc knows about this problem yet will not fix it after warranty expires, So far ive paid 200.00 to replace parts on the covergence board, set will not turn on at all now and makes thumping noise and then goes into safe mode. tech says the horizontal convergence board is also damaged. willing to put up to 300.00 into set as only 2 years old. but if that doesnt work i'll take out the screen and use it as a puppet show. JVC does not stand behind their product. They knew that it was a defect and doesnt offer to fix at no charge......for what i paid for this set 2 years ago i can get a plasma for around the same price!!!! Your gotta be kidding me!!!!!why should we pay for something thats on the company behave!!like javier i chosen JVC for the same reasons.The company should fix it at no cost!!! If you have not figured it out yet it is the covergence board. Cost for the parts is $260-$300. |
