Home | First message in thread | Previous messagethanks. i did just that. still no go. i think i will resort to sending it into sony for repair. apparently it should cost under 300$. don't you think this is a bit coincidental... i am thinking... manufacturer's defect... or... perhaps they built this auto-destruct into the computer to force us all to buy new ones?

This is really freaky - the same exact problem happened on my machine. I am wondering the same thing - if its an auto destruct feature that Sony built into the machine. What have you done about it? I took mine in to Circuit City for repair and they tell me its the motherboard. I wonder if we could all get together and determine just how many people are out there with the same issue and do something more formal to make Sony replace them for us. Linda |
