Dear Greggo, I am interested to know if your blue screen on playback problem has been fixed. I am experiencing what seems like the same problem - when I put the camera onto VCR mode to playback any recordings (old footage or just recorded), I get nothing put a blue screen with the LCD touch screen. The commands work fine, but no playback. I would appreciate your help if you have any advice to offer. Thanks, Olivia
