Your model # would be helpful to give you the best answer possible. Also, if you have a digital camcorder...what brand of tapes are you using? Do you have any other symptoms or error codes coming up besides E-03. I will do what I can to assist you.

I have used it like 2 times and has a jittery picture, it eats the tape and the screen turns blue with either a E# or E4 and in safe mode.
