HomeMultiple problems - can I fix this myself? I was having covergence problems with the red, then the tv went out - and all I heard was a "heart beat" sound. Now, when I try to turn the TV on - the blue light just blinks. I pulled the cord for a bit, now the TV has no picture but the sound works through my home stereo system. I'm lost.

John, Just browsing for someone with a problem like mine when I stumbled across yours. I had my convergence problem fixed a year ago for 400$. On 09/09/06 I got the blank display with heartbeat sound and flashing blue power light. Just wondering if you found the cause. I am guessing power supply problem and a new tv in my near future.
