# Re: JVC service or questions Mark - 26th Jan 2006 17:15 Hi, I have a JVC MX-S2 stereo system were the CD player does not work. It will take a CD but after about 3 sec it displays no disc. The laser does not light but does try to focus, however the disc motor does not spin at all although the motor itself will turn if you apply power directly to it. By the way, two other people have answered exactly the same question in early 2006. Thanks feng
