I am having the same problem with my Sony DSC-S40 with the screen going white, even changing out the batteries doesn't help. I am having the same white screen problem with my camera, by gently pushing the bottom right corner of the lcd screen I was able to get it back but have a feeling it will happen again. Please send me the documentation to correct the problem. Thanks, Crystal

Quite a crappy camera to have this many needs for how-to pictures sent to everyone's emails just to fix it... sadly, I need them too. :( but with this many people needing them, wouldn't it be easier to put them on photobucket and permanently post them? my email's tguck_08@hotmail.com, by the way.
