I own a DSC-S40 and lately it's been not letting me take pictures, and just recently the picture went blank and turned white. Can something please help me with this problem if you know how to fix it?

Just had the identical problem after almost exactly a year - which seems to be the common time period for this problem! Found this on an Amazon review and it seems to work (for the time being)!: " Jacobe's solution is to reset by pressing all 3 buttons on the back of the camera(MENU; Display/LCD on/off; Image size/Delete) simultaneously while turning on the camera. This is a workable but short-term solution as the camera, with its integral flaw, will continue to "excite" with the unpredictable white screens of death."
